Iso files and Hard drives

How would I get it so I can boot up an iso from my hard drive.. I want to install Unbuntu Eee to my asus Eee 900a laptop, and since it doesnt have a cd drive I googled and asked around and found out I could do it from my hard drive.. but I don’t know how to. So if anyone could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it.

1.First you need to download unetbootin for ubuntu or unetbootin for linux. you can find it easily a link is given below http://linux.softpedia.com/get/System/Installer-Setup/UNetbootin-33779.shtml

2.Now run the unetbootin.exe file

  1. In the window that pops up in front of you. Just check the option which says “ iso image” and then browse and tell it the location of iso file in c drive 4.In drive select any drive(c preferably)
  2. click finish 6.setup will extract few files on your hard disk and then it will ask for reboot. 7.click on reboot now. 8.After reboot you will get option of “unetbootin “ along with windows in your boot menu
  3. choose unetbootin and then installation will start
