Is this story good so far???

IS THIS A GOOD STORY SO FAR?? IT IS MY ENGLISH HOMEWORK AND I REALLY NEED TO GET A GOOD GRADE. I heaved the tank of salt water up the stairs, and then tired and worn out, I put it down again and collapsed on the floor to rest. I had just collected 20 litres of salt water from Clapham beach, and I could do with a good night sleep. But that was impossible. Gradually, my body lifted itself into a standing position, and then my hands grabbed the sides of the tank. Too weak to lift it any more, I dragged the tank into my bathroom, then after what seemed forever, I hoisted the tank up to the edge of my bathtub and poured the salt water in. When the tank was empty and the tub was full, I picked up the meat that would be the main body and start of my creation. I suppose one could have mistaken it for a piece of chicken leg, apart from the fact this thing would be coming to life, whereas a chicken would be, well, dead.

And as I dripped in the cod liver, the raving rabbid’s eye juice and put in the yeti fur, the phoenix feathers, the T-Rex eyeball and Jaws’ fang: I watched my creation come to life in my very own bathtub. I must have been staring at it for ages, but who could blame me. My invention was coming together. After years of hard work tracking down the near impossible ingredients, it was finally working. Then, I knew what I had to do. I watched my creation just flailing about aimlessly. It didn’t have a brain yet. It couldn’t think how to swim, or breathe. So I knew I had to hurry. I picked up a syringe and pierced the sharp needle into the side of my head. It was incredibly hard not to scream out because of this unbelievable agony, but I needed to keep quiet. The walls were so thin a cough could sometimes be heard from my neighbours. No. I had to keep this a secret for now. Any screams and people would come running and discover my creation.

My head was throbbing so badly after I withdrew the syringe. I looked in awe at this grey coloured substance that had been flowing round my brain only seconds ago. Hurriedly, I then injected this ‘brain juice’ into my creation. I put my hand to my head, and I felt some wet, warm fluid on the side. I was bleeding. I speedily patched a bandage to my head and held an ice pack to it.

IS THIS A GOOD STORY???

Yeah it’s pretty interesting. I like the part you invent a creature in your bath tub lol. Good luck on that grade!!
