Is this fat?

Is 122.5 lbs fat? ‘Cause I’m gonna lose 60 lbs and I am wondering if it was an okay weight. What size do you think that would be in jeans?

Answer #1

umm thats not fat and being about 60 pounds would suck!!!

Answer #2

well it really depends on what height you are

Answer #3

im not 122 lbs now, thats how much I want to be! so quit calling me an idiot and read the post again!

Answer #4

I am 5’ 4”. How much should I lose to be a size 3 do you think?

Answer #5

Yeah I weight 120 and I wear a 5

Answer #6

It all depends on your height, 60 pounds might be too much to lose for you. I’m 120 and I wear size 5-ish. :)

Answer #7

First off you’re an idiot. No offense but you are. 122.5 lbs isn’t fat and secondly it depends on how tall you are. You never mentioned that in your post. And if you lose 60 lbs you’re going to be underweight to a point where you need to be hospitalized here. I think you have a body image problem if you want to lose 1/2 your body weight. Now if you were like 250 and want to lose 1/2 the weight I can understand that but good god woman!!!

Answer #8

122 lbs. is good if youare between 4’11” and 5’8”

Sizes I’ll leave to the others, I have no idea. Beth, you are at a perfect weight! Are you trying for anorexia?? Don’t, please.

Answer #9

Um, if you lose 60 pounds you’d be dead. Because if your 122 pounds, and you lose 60 pounds, you’d be 60 pounds. I’m hoping that was a typo and you meant only 6 pounds. You are perfectly fine. I don’t think you have to lose any weight at all. I’m 110 pounds, and everyone complains about how I’m too skinny. And I’m pretty short.

Answer #10

NO you are not fat your weight is perfect for your age and it is a very average weight.

if you are going to try to lose weight the max you should lose if any would be maximum 5-10 pounds. do you realise that is you weigh 122 and you lost 60 pounds you would wiegh 62 pounds. that is in no way healthy and that would look horrible. your fine the way you are. no teenage should wiegh 60 pounds.

dont obsess over you body life and living it and being happy with what you have and the way you are is much more important then obsessing over looks

Answer #11

You’re at a fine weight now, but if you want to shape up, you should try working out and eating -500 calories less than you usually do.

62 pounds would kill you. Trust me. And if not, You wouldn’t have enough vitality nor strength to flick your tongue.

Size 3 jeans? 110 lbs at the least amount. But it doesn’t matter so much your weight as it does your shape. Muscle weighs more than fat, but looks like 10x less. If you’re going to be exercising, you might as well throw your scale out, it’s a faulty tool of measurement.

Target the areas you want and look up exercises to spot them. My rule of thumb is to do at least 2 separate exercises for each area I want to reduce. And you should always incorporate at least 45 minutes of cardio into your routine, that’s what makes you thinner while muscle building gives you definition.

Don’t be unhealthy. Please. It consumes you, I know.
