First of all, I think it’s a lost cause with that particular guy. If you have TOLD him how you feel and he still isn’t interested, he’s not going to become interested.

If you feel you just have to try, ask him out. I wouldn’t try a movie or something that’s usually for couples, I’d try for a burger at McDonald’s or something. It’s natural to want the very best, but you might consider lowering your standards just a bit.
