I think that my cat is neutered she isnt mine but she is a cat what comes to my house all day But she hasnt had any kittens she is black and white and two and a half years old … She hangs around with a male brown cat , Do you think that she has been neutered, or do you think that she likes to stay away from the male cats?
My cat has been neutered but I cant see any scar. Non- neutered cats have ovulation discharge which are like mucus with bits of pink/red or brown in. You will see this if you inspect her daily for a month.
If she’s friendly and you are able to pet her and rub her stomach, check her stomach for a surgical scar. It will be quite small and you’ll have to look very closely.
Males get neutered, female cats get spayed. You should take her to a vet right away. And yes, satsumamoon is right. She will have the feline equivalent of a human’s period once a month.
We took in a stray once and we thought she was fixed. Well, nope she was just pregnant! That’s why she didn’t ovulate (didn’t have the mucus discharge thingy). She had 10 kittens. Yeah it was hard but we found homes for all of them. Then someone took her last kitten and they wanted her too, so we were like “okay” and she has a good home now.
