is my belly peircing infected ?

my belly button has been done for a few weeks now but its still red and some puss comes out. it has a little bit of peeling skin around it my mum said thats just new skin forming around it but im still curious can anyone help out ?

hmm. I’ve had mine for about a year now and I kept taking it in and out bcz my mom doesnt know. and it hasnt gotten infected. but now its gone a bit red, and whiteish puss comes out.. shld I take it out, or shld I keep it in?

mine was like that when I first got it done, get an egg cup and use rock salt!! and put 3 table spoons in, it doesnt sting but use boiled water from the kettlle let it cool a little bit then put it over your belly button, keep it on for about 5/10 mins, I done it like, mornin and nite till it looked better, mines fine now had it about 2 years :)

the best salt to use to clean it out (and also won’t dry it out) is Epsom salt. you can get it at drugstores and wal-mart. Also, for the dryness, I would put on some vaseline to keep it from chafing.

its gettin there . . . . . . . just get a cotton ball and soak it with alcohol . (its gunna BURN) but you gotta deal with it . . . . ang then once puss stops coming out of it, fill up the tub with water and mix salt in it TASTE the water must be VERY salty soak for about 20 mins EVERY DAY and pour alcohol on it and move it. . . .hope I helped!

That is normal for it healing but to clean it use sea salt mixing into water. You can put it on with a Qtip on both sides of your bellybotton. try to let it work its way thru by moving it. I hope that helps.
