Is it true that people who was fat when they were children can never be slim?
When I was a kid my mum over-fed me and whenever I was upset (usually about getting teased for being fat) she would cheer me up with chocolate. So I connected eating chocolate and other junk with feeling better, and as that was instilled into me at such a young age it was a hard habit to shake. I really really resent my mum for doing it to me. I struggle with my weight sometimes although I am currently slim and fairly happy with myself. Just wanted to get that out :)
Not true though folks who were overweight as kids (such as myself) do face a more difficult loosing weight as adults. We can do it and if we want to be healthy we have to do it. When the going gets tough the tough get going.
to mrscobainx3, no he means when they ARE children not women who HAVE children.
and no that's not true. anyone can slim down even if they were a fat kid.
Not true - anyone is capable of losing weight - they are not pre-destined to be fat all their life.
Anyone is capable of losing weight if they set their mind to it.
OHHH Wow I read that so wrong.
Totally not true.
