IS PENN FOSTER A LEGIT SCHOOL OR IS IT A SCAM
I'm taking a Penn Foster telecommunications tech course in Canada through ICS (International Career School). ICS is a subset of Penn Foster or rather a number of Penn.F courses that are accredited in Canada. It seems that I can take the 1 year certificate programs but the longer degree programs are not available in Canada. Which sucks because I wanted to take the Computer Science degree program they offer. Perhaps it can't be accredited here; I don't know.
I don't know what employers will think of my degree but I'm finding it very informing. It's a good read most the time and you can work at your own pace. The tests are multiple choice most the time, so that's good. They send most the supplies you need as well. In my case a voltmeter, sire cutters etc. My voltmeter broke and they sent me a new one. $1500CD seemed like a lot at first but all in all I guess it's a good deal.

Yes, it's a legitimate school. A friend of mine recently completed one of their computer courses and it helped her get a certification she needed. She said they're one of the best correspondence schools in business because they send you lesson material quickly and you can get tutoring online.
