Is it a good idea to shave down there?

I don’t know if it’s the same for both sexes, but when I tried it all the hair grew back thicker, and it itched insanely until it grew out again! Gotta consider shaving bumps too, If your hair follicles get infected after you cleave them off, you will get a nasty rash. I wouldn’t advise shaving your genitals. Wax would hurt a lot more I imagine, but its better than shaving bumps and itching like a dog!

if you want to then go for it…I started shaving at 13 and still do…but after you shave put lotion down there. it helps mine with the itch:)

Shaving creates stubble as it only cuts the hair off at the surface of the skin. Shaving only lasts a day or two. Which may cause irritation and itchyness if you keep doing it. Also you’ll find it will grow back more coarse. But if your prepared to keep on top of it then go ahead. I’ve recently started removing hair through epilating. The pain of it is pretty bad to begin with but it last sooo much longer and the hair grows back more finer. So the more I epilate, the less pain there is. I practically can’t feel anything now when I do it.

its fine if you do, though it can be discomforting for some, plus quite a few girls get ingrown hairs (which can be an annoyance) or splitting follicles (which can sometimes be unsightly), especially if they did use a old razor. Like what ‘this is love’ said, always use a NEW razor.

I don’t have the problem of it being itchy, but if you do you could always wax, it’s really not as painful as it sounds. And honestly I started shaving down there when I was fourteen and I still do now. I have no problem with it. So if you want to go for it, just be careful and remember to use a NEW razor.

you can but I would say dont, I did and im 13 and well ill say that its itchy sometimes…really itchy! I was like wtf is this lmao, I would say get some of your own scissors and trim it, but shaving isnt that good of an idea
