Getting married was set up to be a reaseblance of christ loveing the church and the church loving the christ. (A man lovin a woman and a woman loving a man) Unfortunantly our modern times have turned into sex and money sceems. If anyone gets married for thoose resons or any other reasons then they are missin out on true love and also you shouldn’t get married unless you can’t breath without the other person right there. I agree with kaykayanimallover. A lot of people today act like marriage is just a scam and it’s not if you get married for the right reasons. One guy told me, “What’s the point of waiting to have sex till your married if they’re just going to get rid of marriage in a couple years anyway?” (which is completely NOT true) Marriage used to be the only acceptable way to have sex. These days… things are quite a bit different. But nevertheless, marriage is the resemblace of Christ’s love for the church, and marriage is supposed to be to spend the rest of your life with the one you love. And the marriage ceremony is supposed to be to show others of your love and commitment to each other. I would definitely say that marriage is important for two people who truly love each other.
