IPod Touch I can't seem to figure it out

Hi, I have a IPod Touch, that I just got today, and I can’t seem to figure it out… I plug the cable in the IPod and the computer, but so far it just has a screen showing a CD and the cable with and arrow. Then I press the button at the top, but it doesn’t really do anything, except go to the same screen, or to one that says: “Slide to power off” and at the bottom it says “Cancel.” And I dont know what to do from there on. Please Help ME! Thanx!

Why don’t you read the handbook? I’m sure that all apple products come with one in the box =)

Well you posted like 8 times in one hour :) Maybe waiting a little longer would have yielded better results.
