How can I make/help my iPod Nano hold its charge longer?

I had my iPod Nano on my computer all weekend long. This morning I loaded it with classic rock music. I had only listened to it for a few minutes, and then I noticed that the indicator at the top right was almost empty. My ipod is a first-gen Nano.

When you listen to your ipod always put it on hold even when you’ve turned it off it saves the battery just that lil longer :) I know cos I got the same but mine’s pink lol :) xxx

ipod usually takes 3-4 hrs of charging………just dont keep charging……more than 4 hrs………keep ur ipod’s britness low and when ever u listen ur songs just keep it on hold….
