Interview, I'm so nervous

I have a job interview today and I’m so nervous, does anybody have any tips for me? The place is apparently really hard to get into, which lowers my confidence by a lot. Definitely doesn’t help at all. I don’t want to be so nervous to the point that I just blank out in my head and do a really bad job.

Answer #1

You say that you are nervous. Let me tell you this: It is all in the mind. There’s absolutely no need to be nervous. If your throat gets dry during interviews, I suggest that you take a bottle of water with you or pop in some lozenges like chlormint or vicks lozenges, your throat will not get dry. Come on, everything will be alright. My best wishes.

Answer #2

Smile, A LOT. Seem like a happy person, and really excited for the job. I’ve never been turned down for an interview :]

Answer #3

Make sure you are dressed nicelly but not too try hard. Speak the truth as telling tales about previous experience may trip you up if they throw some questions at you. When I interview people I used to actually get nervous too and I also sometimes hire based more on a persons personality than their experience. Someone who has a good personality can be trained but someone who may work well might be a complete disaster when dealing with people. OK I have dribbled on so I will just say BE YOURSELF AND ENJOY THE INTERVIEW BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU DONT GET THE JOB YOU WILL HAVE ONE MORE EXPERIENCE UP YOUR SLEAVE READY FOR THE NEXT TIME. Take what you learn and the next one will be better. Remember your a great chick and who wouldnt want to hire you!

Answer #4

Just be yourself and dress for the part.
