my mum wont let me have internet on my phone I have a sidekick so theres like no point in having it if you dont have internet on it..I mean I have free text but thts like nothing-_-she wont tell me why and I have offered to pay for it myself but nooo...im just wondering why she wont let me have internet...opinions???
I think your mom is wrong.
A kid growing up today w/o the life skills provided by the internet is going to have a huge handicap to overcome.
I would propose to your mother that she allow the internet and in return you will agree to try not to break internet safety rules and are more than willing to put a net monitor on your machine that she can check periodically to ensure you are not violating the rules.
After you demonstrate that you can use the internet responsibly, then you can talk about removing the net monitor.
I agree with your mom, you should be f*ckn lucky that she let you have unlimited txt. No I take that back you should be lucku you even have a phone. I think kids these days are ungrateful and selfish. Even though im a kid as well im thankful for what I got and dont act like a brat when I dont get sometin I want.

You're lucky you even have a phone, and with texting as well.
Internet is expensive, and she probably doesn't want you wasting all that money and getting used to always getting what you want.
