The trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are One -

If you have given your heart to Jesus, then the Holy Spirit dwells in you. He is the force that guides you as you live your life for the Lord. He comforts you when you hurt and convicts you when you are on the wrong path. So it is through the Holy Spirit the we indeed have a personal relationship Jesus.

“Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit” (I John 4:13).

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God” (I John 4:15).

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (I Corinthians6:17).

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost whichis in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye arebought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Corinthians 6:19-20).

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, theWord, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (I John 5:7).

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:13-14).

God has given the believer His precious and holy Spirit as a pledge(earnest) of our inheritance. As you go through your day, “glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Hope this helps, HE IS RISEN !!

No. The Bible doesn’t say anything about having a relationship with Jesus. That seems to be a modern Protestant idea.

Answer #3

this is a good question … it gets me thinking .. but I know it is in there … I will get back top you on actually quates … and if you can handle the bickering there is a web site chat room called “christalk” I am sure that someone in there can direct you to actualy scriptural quats where jesus has spoken of this.

But basicly a relationship with Jesus is love … love for everyone .. not just who we like.

God bless and if you want I will try to find some scriptures that speak of this.
