How important are lyrics to you for you to like a song?

i hardly pay attention to lyrics. i like the beat.

lyrics mean a lot to me, thats how I feel what they feel, and can connect and relate

There are a few songs that I only like 1 song by the artist because of a few lines of lyrics. I do like to be able to hear the lyrics. Bands with that homemade garage sound where the lyrics and instruments are at about the same volume level drive me crazy. Can’t stand them.

Lyrics have a big part in liking a song, cause we relate to them through the experiences we have gone through or are going through at that point, which helps us. Though even if I can relate to the lyrics and like them if the beat isn’t catchy then its a no go.

Very important. I want to know what the song is about and or the story it is trying to tell.

a good beat a nice melody and a good band or solo singer or rapper it all depends.

It really does depend.A lot of the time its the sound and if i hear a line that sticks out to me i am even more interested and want to listen to the song more

Everything. Music helps me relate to what the song is saying, thats the only way I listen to a song, if the lyrics mean something.
