Im too thin, but I'm too fat.

I don’t understand what’s going on. I look at myself in the mirror and think that I’m getting too thin (I’m 6 stone 9. Thats about 96 lbs? My height is 5’1) but I’ll look again and think ‘I’m disgustingly fat’ whereas deep down I know I look unnaturally skinny. My ribs stick out a bit and despite that I can’t stop myself.

But no matter what I think, I’m terrified I’ll get fat and I can’t help myself thinking ‘if I eat that, I’ll get fat’, every time its meal time. I can’t help myself and I don’t want to look like this, but I’m terrified that if I gain any weight at all I’m going to be fat.

I know deep down I’m being stupid but if I gain just one pound I’ll do anything to burn it off.

Is it an eating disorder? I don’t understand. Help :/

it sounds like one :( if you can stomach even a meal a day? a small one. or maybe even a meal every two days? try maybe eating it with friends, or eating a small amount when you see your friends are eating a lot, so you know in comparison you’re not eating a lot. alternatively you could go to the doctor, don’t even have to get your parents involved. don’t think you have to go and start eating completely normally, ween yourself into whatever you can manage even if that means just eating a tiny bit at first, you’ll hopefully become more used to the idea of food. good luck, I hope you start to like yourself soon.:)
