Im In Love With My Best Friend

I’m in the a similar situation and sorry if you can’t read some of this my spelling isn’t very good and I’m 12 ears old :P annyywaayyss I dont know how but I feell like I’m way to young to be in love but this guy (troy) is defferent from all the guys I’ve had my little crazy schol girl crushes.. hes amazing and everything… he loves me back buutt so does his BEST FRIEND (dan)!! and I kinda like his bff too. so this is kinda like a love triangle they both love me and they are BOTH my best friends ever!!! I dont know what to do. pluss.. troy decided to put himself into a hospitall so I cant see him for 2 months, I said I could come visit but he told me not to because he needs a lot of work on his appearance, like a hair cut?? well to summ it up could anyone please help me? thank you for the advice or trying and sorry if you dont understand me

I’m in love with my bestfriend. We already dated and then he broke up with me because he just wanted to be friends again. It’s been a year and a half since w’eve broken up and im still in love with him. We’re bffs and so close but I everytime im with him I’m just reminded of how much I’m in love with him. I dont know how to get over him. everytime im around him im complete. So I hear you it’s hard to be in love with your best friend but for what its worth you got to look at the positives. He obviously loves you, even if it’s not in the way you want it to be he still cares for you as a friend. You should just tell him how you feel and ask him to go out with you as in to the mall or movies and then at the right time tell him to his face how you feel. Observe his facial expression and body language and then hear his response. good luck!

Alright look, I’m in love with my best guy friend too, and I had one of my best friends tell him and lets just say it didnt go well and I got to school the next day and thought he wouldnt even talk to me, but it was all fine at first it was a bit awkward and well my advice to you is to just tell him the truth and it’ll be fine, and I knew he probably didnt like me, and we are still best friends. I may be young, but very mature and know all about this stuff.

I just got over a VERY similar situation. Same thing, the guy has been my best friend for 7 years, we even used to play together, and now we’re older (20 to be exact) and spend a ton of time together. I thought he liked me for a while, and I had the same feelings about him. Just yesterday, we put everything out on the table, and we both feel SO MUCH BETTER! My advice to you would be to tell your friend how you’re feeling. I know it sounds risky, and you might be a little nervous to do it, but think about it.. he’s your BEST friend! The fact that you guys have been friends for so long shows that he obviously loves a lot of things about you. If you’re attracted to him, don’t let it go to waste. You guys are compatible, you enjoy being with each other, and even moreso, you’ve got a really strong bond. The best relationships stem from friendships. If you like him, tell him. Don’t hint because he may not get it. Just come out and say it.. tell him what you’re thinking. I’m sure he won’t make you feel embarassed about how you’re feeling about him, and he may even feel the same way about you. You guys sound like you have the chance to start a great relationship! My advice to you is to not let it go to waste.. you’ll be happy if you don’t. Hope this helps :-)

I am in the same situation and really confused about what to do about it. I love him with everything that I am, and I do not think being with anyone else will make me happy. I have never told him how I feel in the fear that he will back off completely and I won’t ever see him again.

We have been friends for 8years. I have liked/loved him for 4years. and I have been in love with him for 4years.

Our friendship is very boylike, I am one girl out of many boys in our friendship circle. I would like to tell him and for him to feel the same way, but I am intelligent enough to know that nothing happens like that in real life. It hurts when he has girlfriends because I wish it was me, he recently broke up with his girlfriend of a year and he is so heartbroken, so has now gone on a sleeping with lots of girls mission.

I wonder if it would be better to leave telling him until we are both older and more mature, maybe even ready to settle down? Although I am scared in the mean time he will meet someone else that he would prefer to be with, because I do not know if he will feel the same way, although I get the odd signal, he’s a flirtatious guy so it could mean anything. I also have a boyfriend of a year and a half, and I have recently stopped feeling anything more than friendship for him, conveniently about the time I begin to see more of my best friend, who was stopped from seeing me by his ex. It’s all very complicated and I constantly fantasise about the possibilites of what would happen if I told him.

I am just turned 18, and he is 18. It’s an awful situation. Help someone please?

OMG!!! That happened to me this year im 12 years old and i told my best friend i liked him and there are days where he likes me and other days where im not so sure. Lmao my name is Meagan too btw. Its completly normal in my opinon anyway. I found it hard to tell him at first but than I was glad I told him. Sure maybe we arnt dating but even the fact that hes still my friend is enough for me dont get me wrong if he asked me out i would go for it. well as long as we promissed to stay friends. And me and him have been friends forever no joke our moms are best friends and so are we so we have known each other our whole lives.
