If im on a work PC
If my company monitors my Internet usage at work, can they do the same if I am on the pc but on an entirely different network. I can get in trouble for going to the simplist website like a facebook or myspace…Please let me know
It depends on the other netwok. How monitoring systems often work is the company will have a special computer running a program looking for certain websites that each computer visits. That computer is hooked up to the network because the company computers run through a network to access the internet. If you change your network, voila, free from your companies monitoring system. But the other network might have a monitoring system too. Especially if it is jusst another of your companies networks. I would recommend buying a laptop and buying Sprint’s or Verizon Broadband Wi-Fi card and paying the monthly. It is a lot easier that way.
