Should I propose to my boyfriend if he is dying?

This person is ill and you are being very strong by sticking by him, well done. Now, for the marriage situation, you say you are young but that never stopped others (although it came out as a high divorce rate) however will your lad want to get married, will he want you to go through the pain of being widowed if it ever came to that, will he get nasty/moody as the pain grows? Can you afford it? Are both your parents happy with this? Think these questions through. Think of the possibilities and the happy times you will have, but also think of the things you won’t be able to do, the things that you will be restricted on, the help, the caring, being relied on by him and the hard work you will have to put towards this.

if it was me, a relationship is just as strong as a marriage…all marriage is; is a ring and paper.. maybe a joint bank account but what is that worth… as long as you love each other, that will always be locked in each other’s hearts.
