What is your idea of ''taking a break''?

Usually when people say taking a break there basicly breaking up cuz they usually dont get back together

For me, it means I don’t want to be with you right now. Maybe if I miss you, I’ll come back and see you again. Personally when someone says “lets take a break” it means their breaking-up with you, and will only come back to you when no-one else is better.

For me it would just be like getting away from all the crap that i have goin on you know. Have things be the way i want it for a seccond and just forget about everything you know. That would mean taking a break for me. :)

I’ve been through a situation like this. For me, it pretty much meant that I was overwhelmed with family things, and school, and preparing for college, and I just could not handle a relationship at the time. We distanced ourselves for about two weeks, and because he was so understanding about it, we’re still perfectly fine afterward. satanheadbangstometal gave an alternate to that. Don’t assume the worst, just be cool about it and see what happens. You won’t really know without talking to whoever about it.

NOT KISSING OR DOING ANYTHING WITH ANOTHER GUY!!thats basically breakingup. so if you wanna break than tell s/he and dont talk and just chill but dont cheat. and if you want to do stuff with other people…be a man or wo man and just break up with them and dont hurt them.
