How were different races made?

Okay sometimes I wonder how all the different “races” were made. Like for example: Adam was white and Eve was black. Well how are there chinese people then? I just wonder how is this possible then? Any ideas or anything? What do you think?

Answer #1

Eva was black or white, its not matter. Its only example.

Answer #2

Anthropologts say that the first men came from tropical Africa so from that we would assume that the first humans were black and that lighter skin was an adaptation as mankind migrated northward to colder and less sunny climates.

Many Christians interpreted the mark of Cain to be black skin. The mark of Cain was God’s mark on Cain to prevent others from killing him after he slew his brother Able. Years ago most Protestant Christians believed that all blacks were descendants of Cain. They reasoned that God cursed them to slavery to justify slave trade. Later the same teaching was used to justify segregation, discrimination and laws against interracial marriage. The split in the Northern and Southern Baptist church was over this teaching; the Northern Baptists rejecting it and the Southern Baptist still embracing it. Most denominations have abandoned this teaching. One of the most recent was the Church of Later Day Saints (Mormons) who didn’t allow blacks in the preisthood until 1978.

To tell the trruth I dont even know what kinda question this is. I guess its a bit of both. Thanks for pointing that out by the way.

Answer #7

The level of skin pigmentation is an adaptation to the amount of sunlight. Before foods were fortified with vitamin D it was rather difficult to acquire this nutrient from foods; this wasn’t a problem because our bodies produce vitamin D when our skin is exposed to sunlight. Places where sunlight was very strong it was easy to produce vitamin D so skin darkened to protect against the sun buring the skin. Farther north where the sun wasn’t as strong and people had to cover much of their skin with clothing for warmth pigmentation lightened so we whouldn’t need as much sunlight to produce enough vitamin D.
