my friends are getting mad at me because I am talking to my ex again, they only know all the bad things about him because thats all I told them. I really like him and it sucks when you dont get your friends support to do something. One of my really close friends was like if you get hurt by him again I dont want you to tell me about it. I just want support.
UGH!!! I know exactly what your talking about but...in your situation I was the unsupportive friend. Look at it this way, when my friend started talking to her ex again for like the third time I told her the exact same thing I DON'T WANNA KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING!!! For me, I didn't want to even hear her speak his name wether it was a good thing or not because I just got tired of it. I was tired of seeing my friend hurt and I was tired of seeing her make those bad decisions that I could already see was going to end in heartbreak and ...it did. I think that it's not that your friends don't want to support you, I just think that maybe they don't want to see you hurt again. If it didn't work out the first time chances are the second time around its not going to get any better.
blue december is right your friends don't want you getting hurt again that is why they are like that but if they are your true friends no matter what decision you make they should always support you because you already have your own mind. Thats how I am with my friends I'll let them knoe what I think even if it's bad but I told them my opinion if they don't listen then watever...I''ll get mad but I'll still support them watever decision thy make.
