I straightened my hair last night but its all dry and smells funny
WHY WHY WHY!! it smells gross, its all dry and I can barley move it
Sometimes I use TRESemma its a heat tamer spray just put it on before you straighten your hair…or when you do straighten your hair but it on a low heat…So just try not to straighten it till it feels better just try washing it really good…
KateI get this sometimes and its awful lol. maybe your straighteners are burnt? but the smell is your burnt hair and its so dry because its burn (: lol best things to do is use a good heat protection serum and a good shampoo&conditioner :D x
You need to use a heat protectant product in your hair before blow drying or using a flat iron. The smell you smell is the wonderful (sarcasm) scent of burnt hair. and the dryness is from frying it. Use the protectant (I have found Vo5 to be my favorite for the money) and do not put your iron on so hot. Low and Slow applies to hair as well.
