every time I look for a myspace backround and find one I like then I copy and paste the code in the about me section like im suppost to. after I save all changes and view my profile the layout is not the same as it was in the preview. the only colot that itll have is in the boxes. I've tried diffrent sites and layouts and my layout will not be quite the same as it was in the preview. I just need 2 know why this keeps happening and how I can stop it.
a lot of things could be affecting it: maybe your monitor, or browser, or some settings in your computer that mess up the codes. Check if you fully copied and pasted the code. Stylesheets are extremely touchy. Missing a quotation mark can ruin the whole thing. Also, WHERE you insert the code matters as well(e.g. if you insert a font code inside a paragraph code, that font will only apply to that paragraph, etc.).
If it still doesn't work. Report the code to the web admins of the site where you found the layouts. Maybe the code is broken. Good luck!
It has to do with your computer. Mine used to do the same thing until I upgraded the monitor.
