Pregnant if I'm on the Pill?

Hi Everyone,

I am 21 years old. I am on the birth control pill. I had sex5 days before my period with my fiance I been with for 7 months and we did not use protection all though he pulled out before he came in me, although I started my monthly on the right day. I have been feeling nauseous, dizzy, very bad head aches, a weird taste in my mouth, and extremely tired. Is there a chance I might be pregnant?

If I am I have no idea how I would be able to discuss this with my family because I think they would think different about me. What should I do?

Please help!

Thank you, Kristy

if your taking perscribed medicine or and other medicaion you should read the warnings bkuz some medicines slow down the reaction of a birth controll pill or you may have the flu just go to the doctor and check it out

First of all, you are on Birth Control - there’s your protection right there.

Unless you have been taking antibiotics or missed a pill, the chances of being pregnant are slim.

You probably have a flu.

Since you are on birth control and he pulled out, I’d say your chances are virtually none of getting pregnant.

Is this the first time you’ve been on the specific pill.

Bad headaches (migraines) and tiredness and the bad taste in your mouth can all be side effects of the birth control pill you are on. (it’s quite common side effects actually).

I suggest speaking to your doctor to prescribe you a different pill and then see if your symptoms improve.
