How can I get an emo hairstyle?

Okay so my hair is thick, wavy and brown adi want an emo hairstyle.

thats a rele good answer^^ but I would ask for layers on the top , a big side fringgee and then backcomb all the layers:) I fincc black hair is nice to:)

Go to the hairdressers, and bring a picture off the internet of the look that you want so the hairdresser can have an excact idea. & what also looks good is when you straighten it … SO if you have a straightner go for it! But make sure youo do a goodo job so it stays straight .

as a stylist I will tell you that you need to go to your hairdresser and show them a picture of what you want. if they are a good stylist they will know how to texture it then it correctly! and cut it to your desired shape. thus you will have to get some smoothing products as well as a flat iron. the more you spend the better they work. but it needs to heat up any where from 400 to 450 degrees. have uyour stylist show you how to work the flat iron even if your going for the messy emo look you will still want to use the flat iron, hopw this helps good luck! hairtastic@gmail.com
