Well a dry nose, and sticky saliva aren’t signs of anything, really…except maybe she could use a drink of water.

How is she acting? Does she seem depressed, sleeping most of the time? Does she have diarreah? Is she throwing up? Is she shaking? THESE are signs of a sick dog. If she’s eating, she’s probably fine.

You can take her temp by placing a digital themometer in her anus. Make sure you have a lube on the end and insert. Keep in in until it beeps. Normal is 100.5-102.5. So if she is in that range or a smidge above or below then NO she does not have a temp. Still does not mean she is ok. And NEVER self medicate a dog without talking to your vet. Most meds can cause more damage then good

I have three dogs and they ALL experience this kind of simptom at leas a one or two days a week. but they dont drink the water they just throw it out of the dishes and play with it unless I use a garden hose on very light pressure so they will come and drink the water.. so I am gussing your furry friend just needs a nice cool drink
