I need advice on cameras?

okay I usually use my moms camera but I want to get one of my own and I need advice on which cameras are good and I want one with video so if you no some names or where to get one at or anything it would help thanks

I have an Olympus FE-360 8.0 megapixel It’s not really fancy, but I love it. It’s simple, and has video that comes out really good.

Have a look at Nikon D40.
