I MESSED UP

okay so I broke up with my boyfriend and I told him it was b/c my friend had accidently a phone call with him on confrence instead of hold and I heard him talking baout how he might like this other girl but he still needs to think about it because he doesn;t want to mess things up with me. I felt like he needed to know why I decieded to end it. And now he’s all mad at me and being a jerk for listening in to his private conversation. BUT HOW DO YOU JUST HANG UP ON A CONVERSATION LIKE THAT!?

I really dont like him being a jerk but I want to be friends. What should I do?

but I cant be mad at him b/c I kinda liked someone else too. so…

which makes the whole thing even more complicated b/c he doesn’t know that part.

He got caught, thats why he’s mad. You didn’t do anything wrong, and I don’t think ANYONE could hang up when they heard that. If he grows up, maybe you two can give it a shot again. Good luck!

He’s just being a jerk caus he’s annoyed you caught him out! Guys hate to be wrong and that is what he is - YOU have the right to be angry so don’t let him trick you. And don’t worry about the ‘friends’ thing with hjim just yet - it is too soon. You did the right thing breaking up with him - he probs would have gone with this other girl soon anyway. Stay strong and move on!
