I ment to say that I want to get pregnant

I had been on the depo shot for abt 6 months but it wasnt working for me [[ not that it didint work or anything like that I just didnt like it]] I decided to switch to the pills I took them for a month straight and noticed that I was gaining weight so I decided to stop taking them… now I only use the pull out method… I want a baby but I don’t know if this has affected me…

Answer #1

sometimes people take a while to regain full fertility, so it may have some sort of effect, usually goes away in a few months. However I dont understand why you would use a prevention method if you wanted to get pregnant?

Answer #2

With the depo shot(I too was on it and switched to pills. I gained 40+ pounds being on depo) fertility could take as long as 18 months to fully return.

If you want a baby then you need to just keep trying.
