I'm totally smitten...and it's awful

I’ve know this guy, we’ll call him Shawn, since december. We started off as just f*ck buddies and everything was fine. Neither of us wanted a relationship but he was always telling me to back off because I shouldn’t become attached to him.

Anyways, in february I got pregnant (I was on the pill) and basically when I found out about it I had a miscarriage. I told him right away and he basically just ran away and I didn’t hear anything from him for a couple months. I was really hurt and felt very alone but recently he’s come back into my life.

He’s initiating a lot more of the conversations we have now, when I use to always have to be the one to start them. He’s also asking me to come over a lot more frequently…the other day I went over to his place and we had sex…we were cuddling after and I said that I should probably head out because it was late…but he just pulled me close and said that he wanted me to stay…I decided to and he just cuddled and talked to me for hours and it was amazing. The next day he invited me to hang out with him and his son (with another woman) and I did. When I saw how much of an amazing father he was I just melted, but became really sad.

I’m not sure what I should do or how I should feel…I think he’s starting to like me and I know that I’m falling for him…but he’s so scared of commitment and there’s a 9-10 year age difference between us…I know it’s wrong to like him and I really shouldn’t given the past…but please just help and tell me how I should handle this.
