new mobile phone lost and preseumed stolen, good way of handling?

I got a new mobile phone for xmas and I always take it into school. However, it ended up getting lost and preseumed stolen. What would be a good way of handling this situation without my parents knowing, becaue if my dad finds out. I’m as good as dead.

well according to your age.. I very much doubt that you will be able to keep that from your paretns really. im sorry to hear about your phone. all I can say is tell your parents about it and maybe next time you’ll have more of a sense of responsibility. I know accidents happen.. but you shouldnt take a phone to school.

there’s a code for every phone, if you can get it you can cancel something on the phone which makes it completely unuseable. I can’t remember details, go in to a phone shop and ask.

my friend had to do it, I’ll ask him tomorrow, funmail me if you need more help.

thanks for all your help! it is something I appreciate.

I went into school and got it back from the bursa, (the person that handles the school’s money). that’s where all lost phones go, and it was picked up and placed in there for good keeping!

the trouble was, there were 2 of my friends already there trying to get it for me. personally I think that is quite rude.
