I keep getting emotional.

I need to know, I keep getting emotional everytime I talk about my family and the next minute I’m fine and then a few days later, I’m back to getting emotional again. What could be the cause? Ever since I put the PPO against my father and, I start thinking these cruel thoughts about my family since they don’t treat me right and, I feel rejected, What could be a reason for having my moods go up and down? I hate to tell my Branch President of my LDS church that I’m emotional again so I thought I would get your opinions on if this is caused by pain or grief?

Simply a Rose to brighten your day, And maybe lessen the cares in your way; And also, too, to help you to know, That in knowing you, many others grow!

From looking at your profile it is easy to perceive that you might be more prone to emotional problems than most of us. If PPO stands for personal protection order, then it is also easy to understand some of your problems.

You need to find someone whom you can communicate your thoughts and feelings to. Just being able to share them with someone, as a sounding board, will help you deal considerably better with what’s going on around you and any problems you are having.

If it’s too personal to utilize your LDS person and you can’t find someone else, then pick one or two Fun Advice Advisors or someone else on this site and use them as a sounding board. You are basically anonymous so you don’t have to worry about your personal space being violated.

Communication is the key, so find someone to communicate with.
