I just ran a marathon and my poop is green. what gives?
Green fecal matter can be caused by eating green foods, like leafy vegetables, in large quantity, foods with certain kinds of additives or food coloring(blue or green gatorade/powerade), and through the production of more than the usual amount of bile.
Bile is secreted in the upper intestinal tract, turning it green, and by the time feces reach the lower bowel, the color has usually changed to a darker brown.
However, if the feces pass quickly through the bowel, as is often the case with diarrhea(or maybe being jostled around from a marathon?), the green color may not have time to change over.
Did you perhaps drink BLUE GATORAID before or after your run? ;) If not, when you run, your body jiggles around and can decrease drastically the amount of time food stays in your stomach and intestines. The food you ate may have been pulverized, but all of the nutrients weren't able to absorb- hence green (or orange, or whatever color) poop.

As for your question,
dehydration can change the color and consitency of your poop. So can any kind of infection in your body.
hahaa I like bones86 answer. but no I have no idea about your crap being green, are you ill lmfao!
LMFAO! of all questions this bot decides to ask about his poop being green. haha how dumm.
Your poop is green because you ate lots of vegatables and fruits
