I have Bunny Issues...

My rabbit HATES being picked up. how can I help get her to let me pick her up? I really need to trim her nails and it would be nice if she would sit on my lap…

animals are funny… I have a cat. it took her two years to stop hiding under the furniture. She hates being picked up. And lap sittin is out of the question. There’s no way to make an animal naturally like somethin they dont like. You could try rewarding her with treats and stuff. But honestly I’d just leave her be.

it depends what breed of rabbit you have, I had 2 different breeds of rabbits and one was the netherland dwarf and female and she hated to be picked up but then I had a dwarf rabbit and they were fine to be help/picked up…

so if you know what breed he/she is, google it and see that maybe its not a bunny that enjoys adult company,

or if its female she may even be pregnant!!

she might be pregnant? I got her at christmas and shes about 2 years old. how long does it take for a bunny to have a baby once theyre pregnant? ( like it takes humans 9 months…)

but whenever I open the cage door she runs out and “dances” and sniffs anything. and trust me- shes not shy lol

talk 2 your vet about it caus shes probaly just nervous…shy…and really scared… good luck…

I think around 9 weeks they are pregnant for..
