How can I get rid of blackheads on my nose?

Well, I have very clear skin, and I know I’m very lucky. However, one of those days, sometimes pop out on me, and I get pimples. But the thing is, I’ve never had a pimple anyhwhere on my face besides my nose, and I’m 15. I also have blackheads. But only on my nose. Weird, I know. Do you have any home remedies or suggestions? I use tons of facewashes-but I do not touch Acne Free or Proactiv. I don’t believe in them, because I do fine with St. Ives Apricot scrub and Clean and Clear facial wash. hehe. advice is appreciated.

Well, I use the apricot scrub too, along with Clean & Clear blackhead cleaning scrub, & regular washing. You’re lucky they’re just on your nose!

How old are you? I have to say im really sry but it will only get worse. I use to get black heads only on my nose and very few and then as I matured more I got more pimples blackheads and what not all over my face. Its only going to get majorly worse before it gets better.

Go have a facial, ask for a person who does extractions. They really do that, after steaming your face, etc. They know what to do without damaging your face.

I use 2 things but most of the time it kinda hurts for both first you can use a tooth brush to just rub and rub on your nose or you can push up with your thumb on one side of the nose and in the mirror you can see it go up then with your other hand do the same and that might work , I get them a lot too dont worrie im 15

Okay so I read if you a bobby pin and press on the black head it’ll come out,I tried it and yeah it works. So I’d probably advise this for anyone that needs it.

Do NOT pay for all skin potions…I am 34 and have spent so much money on these. The answer for blackheads: 1)baking soda as an exfoliant…and if this is not enough, 2) “Aztec Secret” Healing Clay from Whole Foods, or online. This is cheap stuff that works.

Apple Cider Vinegar helps too…as a toner. It kills the bacteria on your face…white vinegar can be used too but it is used mostly for cleaning. It is great to shave with vinegar…I kid you not. Another subject.

The reason for acne is not just hormones…it is the stuff we put in our bodies and the toxins come out of our skin. This means medications and food that we eat. junk food does show up on your skin, I know.

It is SO difficult to not eat the food that is around us…but your skin can be beautiful if you eat well – meaning raw food. Check out books for juicing from Norman Walker…very interesting.

Sulfur is a mineral present in every cell in your body. It is needed in collagen production and for healthy skin, hair and nails. Organic sulfur levels in food are lost when processed, heated or dried. Sulfur is known to help improve skin conditions such as acne. High sulfur content foods include asparagus, broccoli, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, red pepper, garlic, onion, watercress and kale.

Silicon is an essential trace mineral needed for healthy skin, hair, nails and bones. Silicon levels decrease with age. Fruits and vegetables are the richest source of silicon including apples, oranges, cherries, grapes, strawberries, beets, cucumber, carrots and green leafy vegetables.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL…baking soda is the best.

Answer #8

the blackheads remover from wal mart and target [ you can get them from there }

Answer #9

Try this, I do this and it really helps me. After washing your face at night, take an egg white and put in a squirt of lime…just like 5-6 drops if you have lime juice in a bottle. Then mix it together. Put a thin layer on your nose, and where ever else you have black heads. Wait 10 mins and rinse off. You won’t use the entire eggwhite mix in one night, it turns out it lasts you a couple of nights if you leave the mix in the fridge. Do this every night until your blackheads go away. The first time I tried this I noticed a big improvement in my nose. Strips never worked for me.

Hi bballstar225,

have you tried a blackhead remover? You can buy them from WalMart or Target for a pretty cheap price. It has two ends, one is larger than the other, and they kinda just suck blackheads up. You should try it!

Answer #11

You can use a blackhead remover if you want. This is going to sound weird, but I learned it from a co-worker. You can put a piece of clear scotch tape on your nose, and then take it off, and you will see the blackheads on the tape. Sounds gross I know…but if you are looking to save a few bucks try it. It won’t hurt your skin.
