What's the best way to pierce your tongue?

I have got my tongue pierced, and i strongly advise you to go to a piercing parlour. They take every precaution not to nick a vein which can be deadly. They will advise you to keep it clean and give you tips. I usually get infected with every piercing I have (I have had altogether 5 piercings) and 4 of them have been infected, one seriously and ripped out but the others are fine now. The one that DIDN’T get infected was my tongue - i cleaned it by cleaning it after EVERY meal or snack. With non alcohol mouthwash too. Drink plenty of water after meals to wash away bits. (By the way.. first few days you won’t be able to eat but everyone is different as I ate a sandwich couple hours after)

But yeah.. don’t do it yourself. Because if you do.. it’s gauranteed to get infected.

Antibacterial mouthwash, and a tongue-cleaning brush/scrayper/etc…

i wold say the best way would be be to go and get it done professionally.

at the tattoo and piercing parlor do not do it yourself
