I don't know how to talk to anyone HELP!

I’m be 20 on the 17th and I haven’t dated. I really feel like I should date and me dad doesn’t mind. I’m also very shy to talk to new peple. I just started to take walks by myself because I been so shy and scared to go outside by myself, maybe its because we live in a new neighborhood. But, whenever I see some cute college guy on my walks (I live close to a college) I get nervous and start walking at a faster pace. I can’t even smile Im so nervous, or talk. I don’t even know what to say beside “hi, how are you?”

say hi, how are you. talk about something that you just saw on the news, make an opinion on it and ask for theirs. if you can keep the conversation going and it looks good, ask if they walk by often. if they do, say you’ll see them again some other time. then keep talkin to them and then ask for their number. BAM! you got a relationship =)
