I can't curl my hair nicely.

Okay. I got a new conair ceramic curling iron(1/2” barrel). My friend brought me over to her house yesterday and curled my hair for me and it LOOKED GOOD! But I can’t seem to do it on my own. :( I’ve tried LOTS of things. I even watched youtube videos over and over but I can’t seem to get it right! it’s very frustrating. Everytime I curl a strand of hair , there’s other short pieces in the way and once I’ve rolled the iron all the way to my roots there’s all these shorter pieces that are sticking out. So the curl looks frizzy! How much hair do you take for 1 curl ? I can’t seem to make it nice and smooth.

wjy dont you get it perm in the salon:)

ok do NOT get a perm. they ruin your hair a lot. get one or 2 inch sections to curl your hair. if you want smaller curls use less than that. hope I could help

it takes a while to perfect the technique :P stay home one day and juss play around with your hair until you get it I know its frustrating, I’ve been there but you’ll get it soon enough:)
