How to I control my nerves about going on this date?
Alright well I met this guy and we've been talking about hanging out, but we havn't yet. We finally decided on this Friday tho. Anyways, I'm kinda nervous about it cuz I have a feeling there's gonna be like awkward silence. I'm kinda shy so I dunno if I can keep the convo flowing and I'm not sure how he is. I was wondering what kinda topics I can bring up w/ out sounding stupid. Like I know I can't plan on what to say cuz it just doens't go that way lol, but just in case it gets quiet… just something to talk about. If you have any advice… this would really help me out and make it easier on me going out on this date.
well, first you need to relax! the more apprehensive you get the more awkward you'll be when you finally see him. when on the date, act yourself don't try to pretend you're something you really aren't. If you don't really know him that well, then get to know him ask him about his family, childhood, friends, movies you both like ( talk about comedy movies! ), or on a more serious note talk about politics or some random thing you heard on the news…just don't gossip or talk about friends or enemies, guys will get bored and sstop listening to what you gotta say. There's so much to talk about just relax and be yourself and everything will turn out good. have fun
