hypmitized

has anyone been hypmitized or has seen anyone been hypmitized??? I haven’t, but my cousin has. she had a party at her school and when she came back, she told my family that this guy hypmitized one of her friends and some people on the stage. lol then he told them to act like balloons were attatched to their wrists and she said their arms started being raised!!! lol (sorry this was a long question)
