Are Hybrid cars easy to maintain?
Have you any experience using Hybrid cars? Are those cars good to maintain or pain to maintain?
Being new, and using a lot of new and reliable technlogy, they should be relatively good. But then again they do incorporate in essence 2 engines - a normal diesel/petrol one, and then also an electric one. Electric motors can last twice as long as diesel/petrol motors, and (especially if AC) can require considerable less maintenance. I guess it might balance out as the same as any other car of the early 2000’s onwards. I would expect them to be considerably less maintenance than a Hillman Hunter for instance… but the best thing would be to eliminate the petrol/diesel motor altogether and just have an electric car, and it would be much simpler to maintain.
Pity they killed the electric car… but it will make a comeback someday soon, I am sure.
