Should I have hugs or hold hands?

This guy at my school liked me and my friends told him I would go out with him and now he like loves me. I haven’t done the whole girlfriend boyfriend thing in a while so it was a bit weird and at the end of lunch I think he wanted me to hug him or give him a kiss and I shook his hand. How embarrassing I avoided him for the afternoon and now I think he hates me. What should I do? Help please.

Girl ,you have to talk to him. If he don’t want to listen to you then life goes on. Someone will come in your life,may be better then him.

you shook his hand? why? I mean, are you new at dating, or what? anyways. just talk to him. tell him you were at a loss of what he wanted you to do, he’ll unserstand i’m sure.

How we begin and end an encounter is important and unpleasent. You will grow more comfortable with it in time. Your feelings of uneasiness are normal. Hugging or kissing on the cheek are appropriate at certan times but only if they are sincere and comfortable for both. If there were a group of his buddies nearby he might have appreciated the hand shake. Next time you shake his hand, try giving him either a nice smile or maybe even a little wink? Gino Good luck
