how will I fix this friendship?

Me and My life long best friend were talking last week and and she mentioned that she liked me. I thought this was a coincidence because I also liked her. I asked her out and she said no. I didnt mind her saying no but my friends spread a rumour that I was going out with her. she is 2 years younger than me and now wont talk to me can somebody please advise me on what to do to become friends with this girl again

I think youu should talk to her andd ask her why she doesnt want to talk to youu aqain,tell her that youu were cool with her sayinqq no andd dhat youu really wouldnt want to loose her as a friendd specially considerinqq youu quys been friends alonqq time.hope it works out for youu:)

just talk to her, try to not bring it up until you have a conversation going. you can ask her why she didnt say yes, tho I think I no why she didnt say yes, but just try not to push too much let her come around. just try to keep talking to her to show her you care
