The best examples of how to write an autobiography are those that have sold well. Try reading a few well known ones (amazon’s sales rank can help you figure out the relative popularity of a few different books).
Then once you’ve read 2-3 of those, you should be able to make a checklist of the common themes and then start in on your own. Good luck.
