Your dog probably needs to go out more frequently, if you’re gone very long, you got to go when you got to go. If you have to leave your dog 8-10 hrs to go to work, consider getting a litter box or wee wee pads to place on floor. http://www.cocothebloggingdog.com

there is a few different ways. if you let your dogs outside to go to the potty, and it goes inside, clean it up with a paper towel, and put the paper towel outside where the dog goes. or you couuld go to walmart and buy dog sheets. you put them inside your house and its a paperish matt that attracts dogs to go on it.

um try giving it toys and treats and playing with your dog…or enter it in a dog competition on sticky tv dog on or something…or traing and obedience school

One way is to use a crate…they won’t go in their own nest. Since this is an “occasional” problem, and not an everyday one, can a neighbor come over and let the dog out in the noon hour, perhaps? Your dog should be able to “hold it” at one year old, so my guess is that isn’t her problem…she’s what I call “quasi-housetrained”…when you’re home it appears that she’s trained because you are there to let her out…when you aren’t home, she doesn’t feel obligated to hold it.

On weekends, really work with her…I mean go outside with her, make a BIG deal when she goes…even a treat…something that will differenciate for her, going inside from outside. When you get home from work, do the same thing…go with, and make like she’s the best thing since sliced bread.
