Answer #3

I am learning Thai from my neighbors who are Thai and they say goodbye is :: la gorn. In the Thai language you pronounce “r” like “l”. So when they say la gorn it sounds like lock on … I dunno why it sounds like that but when they say hello they say sawatdee and it sounds like somebody.

Answer #4

La gorn is a term where you say to friends. It’s very informal. The formal way to say it is, sawatdeeka; if you’re a girl. But if you’re a guy, sawatdeekrup. I’m Thai(: Hope I helped you.
