How to make him take me on a date?

Me and my boyfriend been together for 2yrs. And 5months and this is might said bad we never went on a date. I gave him my virginity and everything and I want to stop having sex wit him until he takes me out. He bought me nice things but I want to be taken out. Is there any opinions on what I should do? And please not smart stuff. Thanks!!!

just talk to him, simple as that, ask him to take you out, tell him that you want to go out instead of in for once :} me and my boyfriend were having that same problem for a while, alhtogu we werent having sex. but then I talked to him, I told him I dont want to be only doing this, that I want to spend time iwth him to do other things and get to know him better, and he agreed. now we are both makign the effort to go out more instead, and its working pretty well.
