Simply a Rose to brighten your day,

    And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!

  How to LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

You have a BMI of 26.62.

BMI is between 25 and 29.9 (Overweight)

Persons falling in this BMI range are considered overweight and would benefit from finding healthy ways to lower their weight, such as diet and exercise. Individuals who fall in this range are at increased risk for a variety of ilnesses. If your BMI is 27-29.99 your risk of health problems becomes higher. In a recent study an increased rate of blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease was recorded at 27.3 for women and 27.8 for men. It may be a good idea to check your Waist Circumference and compare it with the recommended limits.   bmi calculator:

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”   One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

It depends on how many calories of energy you are expending each day in exercising, etc.

If you are burning 2000 calories per day and only ingesting 1000 calories per day then you would lose 2 pounds per week.

Remember, you didn’t gain all that weight overnight so don’t try to lose it overnight. It is important that your body get its necessary nutrients.

Try always eating a good breakfast as that starts your metabolism going and gets your body started burning calories. Try drinking an 8 ounce glass of water BEFORE any other time that you eat. This will help curb your appetite. You should also try to drink a total of eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day.

There’s no way you can lose 50lbs in a month or two without cutting off a limb.

Start exercising. Try jogging or biking.

Eat healthier and eat less. Eat when you’re hungry, stop eating when you’re full.

Answer #4

if you want to trim down you should try to not focus on the weight but your clothing size and how your clothes fit you. If your turning fat into muscle you may just tone up but not lose much weight becasue muscle ways more then fat. start small and work yorself up…whatever you do dont crash becasue eventually you will give in and add it all back…you need to make a lifestile change…dont get stressed, things could be worse

Answer #5

Well, it’s going to be kinda hard to lose 50 pounds in 1 or two months. unless you do it the real unhealthy way.

Answer #6
